Are you curious as to how we test and charge our batteries at MK Battery? Here we will discuss a few of the more popular instruments we utilize in the field.

Volt Meter

A Volt Meter, also known as a Voltage Meter, is a testing instrument used to measure the potential difference, or voltage, between two points in an electronic circuit. One of the greatest things about using a Volt Meter to test your battery is how accurate this is for precise measurement. This is one of the main reasons we choose this type of testing instrument frequently.

Load Tester

A Load Tester is an instrument that draws current (discharges) from a battery using an electrical load while measuring voltage. The Load Tester’s job is to adequately determine the battery’s ability to perform under actual discharge conditions.

For certain batteries, we use Load Testers to test how the battery is performing.

Battery Capacity Tester

In short, a Battery Capacity Tester is exactly what you’d guess. It measures the capacity of which the energy can be stored. When you’re testing for capacity in a battery, you’re looking for a specific amount that the battery can deliver in a certain time to ensure the battery is performing up to expectations.

We often use Battery Capacity Testers for a variety of applications.
