MK Battery is proud to support a host of organizations that advocate for the community we serve. We partner with associations that are vital to our industry and to those who depend on our products. Through financial assistance, active lobbying efforts, and community involvement, we are committed to promoting and protecting affordable access to mobility equipment for all who need it, and to supporting quality of life initiatives so important to this community. 1. AAHomeCare 

AAHomeCare (American Association for Homecare) represents the HME industry to both legislators and payers by educating about the value that HME providers deliver to patients.  AAHomecare membership includes networking events, sponsorship of the national industry tradeshow and educational events. To learn more click here.  

2. NRRTS 

NRRTS (National Registry of Rehabilitation Technology Suppliers) has been working towards making positive leaps and bounds in the CRT community since 1980. Their goal is to stay dedicated to the professionals supplying complex products and services. They do this by offering educational webinars with CEUs and much more.  

3. NCART 

NCART (The National Coalition for Assistive and Rehab Technology) is a non-profit organization of suppliers and manufacturers of Complex Rehab Technology (CRT) products and services. Their mission is to educate and advocate to protect access to CRT for all users at both the state and national level. 

4. RESNA 

RESNA (Rehabilitation Engineering and Assistive Technology Society of North America) is the premier professional membership organization dedicated to promoting the health and well-being of people with disabilities through increasing access to technology solutions.  

5. UNITED SPINAL ASSOCIATION 

United Spinal Association is a consumer focused organization that is dedicated to empowering people with spinal cord injuries and disorders (SCI/D), including veterans, to live successful and fulfilling lives.

6. USPSA

Since 2013, MK Battery has been a primary sponsor of the USPSA (United States Power Soccer Association), the governing body of the first competitive team sport designed for power wheelchair users.  Athletes' disabilities include quadriplegia, multiple sclerosis, muscular dystrophy, cerebral palsy, and many others. The game is played in a gymnasium on a regulation basketball court. Two teams of four players attack, defend, and spin-kick a 13-inch soccer ball in a skilled and challenging game similar to able-bodied soccer.
